It's finally not freezing at night and reaching almost fifty during the day, so me and some buddies went on an early season camping trip. The campgrounds aren't officially open until May 1, so we weren't charged anything. We found a site at Hidden Lake campground that was free of snow and set up camp.
The lake is still frozen, but the ice looks pretty thin. It will probably open up in a week or so. We didn't bother fishing since none of us had a license yet. But we did spend the evening around the fire tipping back some Jack Daniels shots and solving the world's problems.
Like imigration. Hey, let's let them come to work, but they must become legal citizens to receive any government benefits. And any felony conviction wins them jailtime followed by expulsion.
No alien could legally buy a firearm.
No Muslims, no questions.
No more student visas. Let them study in their own country, or apply for citizenship.
I don't recall the other stipulations. I think I must have dozed off early.
We did see a black bear and a couple eagles, but no moose.
All in all a fun early season campout. But now it's back to work. Damn.
