South Korean scientist Hwang Woo-suk announced that this team has successfully cloned an Afghan hound (according to AP). It was the lone success of more than 100 dogs implanted with cloned embryos. Researches have now cloned several species like cats, pigs, mice, goats, etc... but have yet to clone a monkey, or any primate. Attempts to clone primates continue to fail.
