Just tossin back a few Heinekens, listening to some Joe Walsh. Here is my version of "Life''s Been Good".
I have a condo, forget the price,
I never leave there but I think it''s nice.
My neighbors hate me but I say "who cares?",
I pick up my paper in my underwear.
They say I''m crazy but I have a good time,
I''m just lookin'' for clues at the scene of the crime.
Life''s been good to me so far!
My chevy pickup does 95,
I wear my sunglasses to shade my eyes.
I rode in a limo once when I tied the knot,
Before I marry again, in hell I''ll rot.
I make cd''s to play in my truck,
So much for 8-tracks, ain''t that my luck?
Well I got me an office with shotguns on the wall,
If you''re a buglar, you''re taken'' a fall!
Lucky I''m still sane after all I''ve been through,
everybody say "he''s cool"
I can''t complain but sometimes I still do,
Life''s been good to me so far!
I go to parties sometimes until four,
it''s hard to leave when you can''t find the door,
I''ll never handle fortune and fame,
my life is strictly average and mundane.
They say I''m lazy but it takes all my time,
I keep on going, yes I''ll never know why.
Life''s been good to me so far!
You know? Life hasn''t been THAT good, but I can''t complain too much.
Still waitin'' on the Supreme Court Nominees.
