Bye, Bye Left Wingers
05.30.07 (9:31 am)   [edit]
What a coincidence that several left wing nuts have faded from the limelight. Rosie O’Donnell has quit The View, Cindy Sheehan has gone back to California, and even Sen. Harry Reid has voted to fund the war. Among the three, Rosie by far is the worst, and genuinely seems to hate our country. She has spewed hatred and lies through any forum given her. On The View, she had a big riff with her conservative counterpart that finally came to a head and was cause for her quitting the show. She also has a website where she bashes almost anyone who disagrees with her. I say good riddance. Move to France if you hate America. Cindy Sheehan is a woman with a legitimate beef. She lost a child in the war. I sympathize with her and her x-husband. But she carried her cause too far. Protesting the war is anyone’s right. Becoming the spokesman for the far left nuts at the expense of your 27 year marriage is carrying things too far. Finally, there is Senator Harry Reid of Nevada. Actually, a person could include Nancy Pelosi in this case. Both staunch opponents of the war. That’s fine, that’s everyone’s right. I’m sure that they have many constituents who support their view. So, why sell out on your convictions? They both voted for additional funding of the war, a war they oppose, simply because the Democrats got some of their pet projects funded in the same bill. They have basically said to their base “we oppose the war, but as long as they give us what we want, we’ll go along”. Pelosi once said there was new leadership in place. Ha, you call that leadership? Looks like the conservative nation is outlasting these left wing idiots. Thank God (boy they wouldn’t like that either). Later

Trans Fats Good or Bad?
05.16.07 (1:02 pm)   [edit]
Just read this article from Reuters news: "LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - A nutrition advocacy group sued Burger King Holdings Inc. on Wednesday over the hamburger chain's use of frying oil that contains artery-clogging trans fats. In court papers filed in Washington, D.C. superior court, the Center for Science in the Public Interest said Burger King is the only leading restaurant chain that has not yet committed to eliminating trans fats from its menu." The article goes on, but you get the drift. I hope Burger King counter sues those assholes at CSPI for millions for bringing such a frivolous lawsuit. Is this not America? Do we not embrace capitalism? If those dumb asses at CSPI want to do some good, they should get the State laws of CA changed to not allow the trans fats. But to bring on such a ridiculous lawsuit and waste EVERYONE's time, they should have to pay! What's next? A lawsuit against Walmart for selling cigarettes? How about a suit against the State of CA for not posting warning signs at every crosswalk stating that crossing a street can be hazardous? Who the hell finances these idiots anyway? The French? I'm not convinced that trans fats are really a health hazard. Sure if that is all you eat, but if all you ate was tofu, it'd probably kill you as well. Here's a novel idea...how about letting the consumers make the choice? Oh no, bad idea. We consumers are not capable of making our own decisions! Silly me. Again I say counter sue the numb skulls! I like my spotted owls fried in trans fat oils! Later
